BACKGROUND:
The world he is from is more or less just modern day earth, typical Urban Fantasy where everything is the same history-wise and all but for the fact that supernatural elements exist. The supernatural element in this case is the existence of Lovecraftian-style Old Gods/Outer Beings which exist outside of reality as we know it. They are not common knowledge, of course, and most people know nothing of them, but for the small occult fanatics who enjoy seeking them out and a particular not-quite-government agency that is dedicated to keeping them under wraps. Think Men In Black style, except a little shadier ethically, considering that their idea for combating the outside forces is to genetically engineer super-humans with the express purpose of using them as weapons.
Itsuki's mother and father were rather well-off, his father owning a pharmaceutical company, allowing Itsuki's mother to be a housewife without worrying about their financial situation. From the outside, they seemed every bit like a normal wealthy couple, but Itsuki's mother had an obsession with the occult, frequently messing with things that she thought of as 'otherworldly'. Most of this was harmless fun, but sometime while she was pregnant she stumbled upon something that was truly outside of reality, a being whose very appearance broke her sanity and left her 'touched' by the Outer Beings.
The baby she would have otherwise had was altered forever in that moment. Instead of developing a human brain, an Outer Being was planted in it's skull, overtaking the life of the child before it was born, creating Itsuki as he is now. She too was irrevocably changed, becoming quiet at the best of times and when she did speak, it was broken and usually seemed like nonsense due to her experience, though the things she says usually pertain to the things she's seen and the truth she knows about her son.
In youth, he was able to eat things the same as a human, his eldritch nature suppressed in order to allow him to mature before he had to become the dark beast he was meant to be, but as he grew it began to get harder for his body to process anything 'normal'. Vegetables, fruits, and grains were the first to go, eventually causing Itsuki to become violently ill if consumed, and as time went on it even became difficult for him to survive on meats. He is still capable of eating any kind of meat, but human meat is what doesn't cause him any discomfort to consume. This was something he had to learn growing up on his own, considering his fully human parents, and he learned of his monstrous appetite some time while out at one of the various 'summer camps' that his father sent him to in order to enrich and educate his son.
Sometime while out in the woods alone with another teen, Itsuki got it in his head to kill them. You know, for fun. He was already cruel to animals, and really humanity seemed like the right next step for him, despite not knowing that it was his own nature which drove him toward such acts, and when he did... there was just something about it that drove him to eat his victim. Soon enough, nothing was left of them and Itsuki had gained a new habit. Thankfully not only for the safety of others, but also for Itsuki's own safety, he found that eating a person could sustain him for quite some time, and he could go long periods between these terrible meals.
During his development, Itsuki had little issue with his parents, considering that his father was such an important businessman, making him rather distant and negligent, and his mother's mental health meant that Itsuki felt comfortable with her. Even if she spoke, no one really took her seriously, and so Itsuki grew closer and closer to her out of a desire for some amount of companionship. Upon reaching adulthood and graduating with a medical doctorate, he rid himself of his father. It was easy enough for him to be reported missing, no trace of him left after Itsuki was finished with him, and he took over his business. Despite his disdain for most people and his lifestyle requiring some amount of isolation, he did and still does hold some amount of affection for his mother, and he continues to take care of her, showing her a surprising amount of compassion.
He doesn't have many connections in his life, but for a few childhood 'friends' who he is kind to but rather distant from, citing his job as the reason for his long bouts alone. A number of these friends and acquaintances of his have also gone missing, and as of the point I am taking him from, it is being investigated, but nothing can currently be pinned on him by the usual authorities, though he is soon to find out that humanity is not without it's defenders.
PERSONALITY:
Itsuki is best described as 'eccentric', as far as the public is aware. The new CEO of a large pharmaceutical company, he is wealthy and somewhat strange, having a penchant for loud fashion choices in the form of brightly colored glasses and suits, cravats and ties and bowties, extravagant patterns, and glittering accessories. He loves to live in luxury, but despite this, he is also quite popular with about anyone he speaks with, because he is not haughty about his lifestyle, and tends to be quite generous, freely offering things to others if he should see that they need it. In fact, the people who dislike him most do so because they do not trust his jovial and friendly nature, especially since he may come off as too friendly at times, and too quick to familiarize himself with someone, a faux-pas especially because of his Japanese-American lineage and the fact that he often does have to do business in Japan.
Academically, Itsuki was a bit of a natural! He never seemed to struggle through his courses, and while he was hardly a straight A student, he did well enough that people praised his intelligence and dedication to his education. Truth be told, especially once he entered college and started his medical studies, Itsuki was simply fascinated by learning. He is a very curious man, and accepts new information quickly. He can tend to come off as quite naive in this way, however, as it is easy enough to convince him of things that are simply not true, as long as you have conviction and he doesn't have any information to contradict it.
Most of this is his real personality, for he truly is intelligent and curious, but his friendliness and charity is a facade. A honey pot, even. In the end, there is no part left of what would have been a human Itsuki Ozaki, and his personality is shaped only by growing up around humans, but the truth is that he has a natural disdain for people. He is kind and charitable, only because he relishes in seeing the way that they feel betrayed and hurt when he reveals that he'd spent all of this time getting close to them only to lure them in as prey.
Without his mask of humanity on, Itsuki is playfully cruel, completely throwing out the old 'don't play with your food' knowledge in order to feel true pleasure. There is nothing in life that he enjoys more than a good butchering, taking his time with it and usually keeping things relatively clean while also using his medical knowledge to see what kind of havoc he can wreak upon a body. He does think of himself as better than humans, and better than animals, taking pride in how he can kill, cook, and display a human in beautiful ways before eating them. In fact, he sees a messy butchering and eating them raw as brutish, something you do as a child before you have any culture, though he does give in to the need to be animalistic about it from time to time. He's just a little self-conscious about it.
Now, despite being an eldritch creature who has to eat people and enjoys this along with their suffering, Itsuki is not a complete monster. He's simply another species, and having grown up around humans and having been socialized by them, he does retain some very human-like qualities, even at his most honest. He IS genuinely curious, and can experience and express emotions just like any other sapient creature, though his morals are 'blue and orange' and thus somewhat enigmatic at best. Even so, he does long for companionship and can make true connections with others, but he avoids it in the interest of self-preservation. That said, meeting a human or another non-human with similar morals who he can open up to without feeling as though his life or well-being would be threatened is a true joy, and he will cling rather desperately to any such person. He often finds himself feeling isolated and outcast despite being rather popular among regular people because of his nature, and this is part of what fuels his disdain for humanity, while the rest of the personality he developed while growing up human fuels much of his love for it. In the end, this makes him quite conflicted, to the point of deciding not to fulfill his own biological imperative to destroy the life on the planet for his version of procreation, instead deigning to 'just stick around' and keep doing what he's doing until it was no longer feasible.
POWER:
I. Eldritch Parasite
The entity known as Itsuki is actually a parasitic creature from beyond time and space that resides in the skull and vertebrae of the human form people interact with. Being such a creature, there are some things he is capable of that a human would not be!
-Being an unfathomable creature in nature, Itsuki is unable to be mentally manipulated through any kind of powers that would take control of or read an organic mind. In addition, anyone who is not eldritch in nature themselves and finds themselves probing his mind would become disoriented and overstimulated, unable to glean anything intelligible from his mind and some part of them may get a feeling that it was truly disturbing.
-His origins are from a place beyond time and space, and this allows him to phase through physical objects, though he is very young yet and his control over this power is unreliable. In addition, he cannot phase through energy, such as fire/lightning/magic/etc.
-Other than his phasing ability, Itsuki cannot manipulate reality or time, however, powers that manipulate time or space do not affect him. In this way, he cannot be teleported(except by Porter) nor will time be able to be rewound/sped up/stopped for him, though the surrounding areas may be affected.
-Being that he is sustained by preying upon The Most Dangerous Game, Itsuki has a heightened sense of smell and hearing, and yet he is quite near-sighted.
-A parasitic creature, the human 'host' is actually more or less a mobile skin suit, and thus Itsuki can survive injuries to his human body that would kill any mortal, as well as being able to replace or regrow his limbs if necessary, provided that he has eaten enough to replace the cells. Injuries to his spinal cord hurt the actual creature inside, and skull injuries can very easily be life threatening or outright kill him.
II. Limited Shapeshifting
Itsuki's only reality-bending ability is the ability to shape his own body as he pleases. As it is once again Eldritch/Otherworldly in nature, he cannot shapeshift into any 'regular' creatures, and cannot take the shape of other people.
Any manipulation of his form turns his skin/scales/chitin an inky blue, black, and/or purple, with seemingly randomly placed bright blue eyes. He can make himself as small as a large dog, or up to as large as a bus.
III. Otherworldly Aura
Like many monsters from The Void, Itsuki naturally has a strong unnatural aura. Animals tend to fear him and can react aggressively or cower in his presence. This aura can be strengthened to affect people as well. If he focuses it on a very small group of people(up to three), he can cause panic, hysteria, and some temporary insanity.
The maximum range for this ability is one block, and the effect ends immediately upon leaving that range.

[Itsuki was more than happy to have this technology! Really, an easy and quick way to address a large group of people by video? Excellent. Almost like a free way to advertise, if you just put some thought into the setup. The live aspect of it was both a curse and a blessing, making mistakes impossible to rewind and do-over, but also allowing a level of interactivity which he found inventive and advantageous!
He wasn't here to advertise this time though. It wasn't as if he had his company to think of here, really, was it? So Itsuki sat in a computer chair, idly spinning it back and forth as he sat back in it, thoughtful.]
You know, this is really quite fascinating! Here, we have been drawn from different dimensions, timelines, realities... and yet somehow it hasn't really seemed to change things too terribly much. Sure, this world has hover cars-
And aren't hover cars a little ineffective? What kind of fuel do they use? It seems like it'd be much less fuel efficient than just using wheels, and with the issues we already have- Oh! Look at me rambling.
[He stops his spinning, as if it were aiding in making him unfocused, and sitting still might help his thoughts stop swinging to and fro. Itsuki adjusts his glasses.]
Anyway, I was wondering, what kinds of technology have you all shared with this world? Or if you are from a place with far less technology, what kinds of knowledge have you picked up? I imagine there is a lot for us to share back and forth! If anyone would like to meet up and discuss, over drinks perhaps, I would be happy to do so! My treat.
LOGS POST (PROSE) SAMPLE:
"Yes, of course!" Itsuki spoke into his cell phone, held between his face and shoulder to keep him hands-free. "My flight will be arriving around 3pm Central, and I should be down there by 5pm. I have to have some time to freshen up, haha!" His tone was jovial, as it always was, even during setting up such business meetings. People seemed to have grown used to it, despite his position, or maybe because of it.
The conversation was at the back of his mind though really, his hands quite busy. Itsuki had gotten hold of someone that he didn't really know, which was all at once a bit of a shame and a fine opportunity. People he didn't know were so much less likely to be traced back to him when they went missing, but they were so much harder to sprinkle with the sweet spice of hatred. To that end, he just supposed he would have to draw this whole ordeal out, his victim's arms and legs tied up behind their back and a gag in their mouth to keep the person on the phone from hearing their pleading. That would most certainly be coming out when the phonecall was done!
"I look forward to seeing you there. Ta-ta then! I have a lot of preparations to make before heading out. Yes, ciao!" He pulled his hands free from where they had been busily taking a scalpel to his victim in order to hang up the phone, needing to pull off his plastic gloves in order to avoid getting blood on his phone. Now then, to address his new 'friend', he turned his eyes back to them, sitting back and pulling off his other glove in order to clean his glasses off. "So, how are we doing? You look like you're still quite healthy! That's good. I'd hate for you to die so quickly on me." Now those gloves were dead to him. They were a mess and were meant to be disposable anyway, so he just grabbed a new pair. He couldn't really afford to have blood under his fingernails, right?
With his new gloves on, his smile disappeared as he leaned in to grab his victim's face, squeezing cruelly at their jaw before pulling the cloth from their mouth. Yes, that was much better, and Itsuki, smiled as he sat back once more and admired his work. This stranger he'd never met, naked and flayed while still being quite alive enough to give a few coughs before the hoarse screaming started. They were crying out for help, as if Itsuki wouldn't have anticipated such a thing and brought them somewhere soundproof enough to allow it to simply happen before him. That smile of his returned as he leaned his cheek on his hand, looking nearly smitten as he regarded this mess he'd made.
"Yes, let it all out. Do try not to hurt yourself too much though, you're not nearly ready for butchering yet.", he spoke with an even tone, as if he were simply talking to an old friend about the weather. At that, he turned back to his scalpel, picking it back up before getting back to carving the person, carefully attempting to avoid any arteries or anything that might end in the human bleeding out just yet. As much as he loved the look of it, he wanted to save that blood. It'd really make for a nice, thick broth. Itsuki kept a steady and deliberate hand as he took slices from his victim, thinking as an artist might about how to sculpt marble about how he would present this meal. A true shame he could never share his art, but it wasn't about sharing it, he simply enjoyed the making of it.
"I think I'll fry these strips up, kind of like bacon. How does that sound? You want a bite? Hah hah! No, I suppose you wouldn't!"
FINAL NOTES:
Itsuki has a number of weaknesses not mentioned in his 'abilities' section, such as his need to consume human flesh in order for his body to continually keep up his human form. As a parasite is taking the place of his brain, he cannot continually regrow cells and must consume other humans to reuse THEIR cells in his own body. This also means that he cannot heal himself regularly unless he'd recently eaten. He CAN consume non-human proteins to serve a similar function, but it isn't sustainable and his body would eventually begin to warp with continued consumption of nonhuman meats.
He also wears corrective lenses, and he does actually need them as he is very nearsighted. He can see color and movement quite well, but if you knock off his glasses he's unable to see anything clearly that is more than say... six inches from his face. His right eye also has a nonhuman vertical pupil, which can give him away, though he usually says it's just a birth defect.
His human body is just as easy to cut into as a normal human body, but injuries to his spinal cord affect his 'real body', and head injuries, if bad enough, can expose or kill the parasite that is his true form. In addition, the parasite form cannot survive in open air, and to be in open air would result in a slow and very painful death for him.
